County Government of Kwale in conjunction with Kwale Water and Sewerage Company and the World Bank officially Commissioned the new Office Block, Ablution Blocks and Laboratory Project under the WSDP funded by the World Bank.
H.E Fatuma Achani, Governor Kwale County was the guest of Honour.
The event was also graced by the deputy governor H.E Chirema Kombo, Madam Pascaline from the World Bank, CEO WASREB, Hemedi Mwabudzo CEC Water Department, KWAWASCO MD Eric Parmet, County Assembly Water Committee, County Secretary Sylvia Chidodo, other county officials, KWAWASCO staff and members of the public.
The office block houses all the relevant offices hence making service delivery more efficient. The ablution blocks will help maintain high standards of sanitation and the laboratory will help speed up the rate of water quality testing as we previously got it done from outside facilities.
